Cambridge Publishing House UK stands behind the quality and professionalism of our services. We recognise that every publishing project is unique, and we work collaboratively with clients to deliver tailored solutions. Because our work begins promptly once a project is confirmed, our refund policy has been designed to balance fairness for both our clients and the time we invest in their projects.
If you decide to cancel your project before any work has started, you have the right to do so. In this situation, we'll process a refund minus a reasonable administrative charge to cover the costs we've already incurred in project setup and payment processing.
Your eligibility for a refund depends on which stage of your project you're at when you request cancellation.
If you ask to cancel before we've delivered your first set of materials, you'll be entitled to a refund of most of what you've paid, with a modest amount kept to cover our setup and processing costs.
If you request cancellation within a short timeframe after we've provided your initial deliverables, you may still qualify for a partial refund, although this will be less than if you'd cancelled earlier.
Once a longer period has passed following delivery of your initial work, refund availability becomes more limited. At this point, significant work will have been completed, and we'll typically have no refund available, though we'll provide you with all completed materials.
Refunds are not available in the following circumstances:
Marketing services—including campaign development, content creation, advertising setup, and promotional work—start immediately upon project confirmation. Because these activities involve rapid initial deployment and resource allocation, marketing fees become non-refundable once we've begun creating marketing assets or launching campaigns.
To help keep projects on track, we ask that you:
Delays caused by slow material delivery, late approvals, or poor communication from your side will extend your project timeline and may affect refund eligibility.
When a refund is approved, we'll process it back to your original payment method within a reasonable business timeframe. Please allow additional time for your bank to complete the transfer, as processing times vary by financial institution.
We're committed to resolving concerns professionally and respectfully. If you're unhappy with any aspect of your project, please contact your Project Manager first so we can explore solutions together. Many concerns can be resolved through revision, clarification, or adjustment without needing to cancel altogether.
Cambridge Publishing House UK reserves the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will take effect going forward and won't apply to projects already in progress unless you've agreed otherwise in writing.
Our aim is to build strong, lasting relationships with the authors and clients we work with. We believe in clear communication, professional service, and setting realistic expectations from the start. We encourage you to discuss your project requirements and concerns with us before confirming your order, so that everyone involved understands what to expect.
If you're weighing up your options or simply want to know more about how we work,
send us a note. We reply properly, not with a form letter.
Tell us a little about your book and where you're at with it, and we'll come back with a clear idea of how we can help no obligation, just a straight answer.
